Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Production Lead to oversee daily manufacturing operations within our production facility. Responsibilities Supervise and manage assembly line teams to meet production targets efficiently and safely. Interpret and follow detailed manufacturing documents, technical drawings, and work instructions to ensure accurate assembly and mechanical work. Operate and oversee the use of forklifts, power tools, hand tools, measuring instruments, and other equipment necessary for production tasks. Conduct manual handling and heavy lifting as required while adhering strictly to safety protocols. Monitor production processes for continuous improvement opportunities using lean manufacturing principles. Ensure compliance with safety standards in production areas by enforcing safety protocol adherence and conducting regular safety audits. Coordinate with quality control to maintain high standards of product quality and resolve any issues promptly. Support process improvement initiatives by analyzing workflows and implementing best practices for efficiency gains. Qualifications Proven factory experience with a strong understanding of manufacturing environments and processes. Hands-on experience with mechanical assembly, interpreting technical drawings, and using measuring instruments. Demonstrated ability to manage production or assembly teams effectively in a fast-paced setting. Proficiency in operating forklifts, power tools, hand tools, and other manufacturing equipment. Knowledge of safety standards in production environments, including lean manufacturing principles. Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot basic mechanical issues on the production line. Experience with manufacturing management systems or documentation interpretation is preferred. Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting while maintaining safety compliance.
