Job Summary :

The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily production operations and leading production employees to ensure products are manufactured safely, efficiently, and according to company and customer quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise, train, coach, and motivate production employees. Manage daily staffing, production schedules, and workflow. Monitor productivity, quality, yields, waste, and equipment performance. Ensure compliance with GMPs, SOPs, food-safety, sanitation, and workplace safety requirements. Work with Quality Assurance and Maintenance to resolve production and equipment issues. Ensure accurate packaging, labeling, coding, and production documentation. Address employee performance and attendance issues in accordance with company policies. Identify opportunities to reduce waste, downtime, and rework while improving productivity. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized production environment. Communicate production needs, issues, and results to management.

Qualifications:

Previous supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment. Food manufacturing or seafood-processing experience preferred. Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Working knowledge of GMPs, food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety. Ability to work in a fast-paced, cold production environment. Basic computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Ability to operate and troubleshoot production equipment. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred. Ability to work flexible hours, overtime, weekends, or holidays as needed.
