POSITION SUMMARY

The Trade Lead is responsible for leading daily operations within their assigned trade area, ensuring safety, quality, productivity, and workforce development standards are achieved. This position serves as the frontline leader for their trade team by coordinating work, supporting employees, maintaining production flow, resolving obstacles, and driving continuous improvement. Trade Leads are expected to lead by example, promote accountability, train and develop team members, and ensure all work is completed according to company standards, specifications, and production schedules. Responsibilities Oversee and lead all wall and truss framing operations. Ensure framing assemblies are built according to engineered drawings and manufacturing specifications. Maintain high-quality framing standards while achieving production targets. Train framing team members to improve quality, efficiency, and craftsmanship. Other duties as assigned Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum 3+ years of experience in the applicable trade area. Previous leadership, lead, or supervisory experience preferred. Strong understanding of quality standards and production processes. Ability to read construction drawings and specifications. Strong communication and team leadership skills. Ability to effectively train and develop employees. Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement. This position is an in-person role Must be competent and comfortable in computer skills and navigate modern technology often (Microsoft Teams, Microsoft 365, etc) This role requires signing a confidentiality agreement May require a reference check that speaks to the positive character of the applicant May be regularly required to stand, sit, or walk for long periods of time, lift or carry more than 50 pounds, climb/balance on stairs or ladders, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
