About Your Role The Production Foreman is responsible for overall production operations, team leadership, and performance management within the sites they manage. This role oversees shift execution, workforce management, and operational strategy, ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective production. Duties and Responsibilities Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Assist with other duties as assigned. Lead overall plant operations and performance by overseeing daily production activities, coordinating workflows, and ensuring targets for safety, quality, and output are consistently achieved. Manage and develop the production team by directing staffing, scheduling, performance management, and coaching to drive accountability and growth across all technician levels. Own safety and regulatory compliance by enforcing safety standards, leading initiatives, and ensuring a safe working environment across all plant operations. Oversee maintenance and equipment reliability by ensuring preventative and corrective maintenance is executed, supporting system uptime, and guiding equipment improvement efforts. Drive production planning and operational efficiency by managing resources, monitoring performance metrics, and implementing process improvements to optimize output. Manage administrative and financial responsibilities by overseeing budgets, inventory, purchasing, and reporting to support effective plant operations and decision-making. Coordinate cross-functional operations and customer needs by working with supply chain, logistics, and leadership to ensure smooth product movement and customer satisfaction. Supervisory Responsibilities The position supervises or manages the work of at least two full-time employees, multiple locations, or the equivalent. The position includes decisions or recommendations regarding personnel actions such as hiring, disciplinary action, overtime, changes in pay, and terminations. Minimum Qualifications 5-8+ years of production/plant experience 2+ years in leadership roles preferred Strong operational, technical, and leadership skills Proven ability to manage teams and plant performance Outstanding Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, and Power Apps). Valid Driver's License and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record MVR. Working Conditions The work environment is the typical plant environment. The employee must complete their work satisfactorily in an environment where there are significant distractions, including staff, clients, and vendors walking through and conversing, telephones ringing, conversations carrying over, loud noises, and interruptions to answer questions from others. This position may be exposed to chemicals, extreme weather conditions such as heat, cold, and wind.
