Description:

Overview We are seeking an experienced Production Support Supervisor to lead manufacturing operations in a fast-paced production environment. This role is responsible for overseeing daily production activities, developing and coaching employees, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring operational goals related to safety, quality, delivery, and productivity are achieved. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives on the production floor, enjoys developing employees, and has a strong experience in manufacturing leadership. Schedule Day Shift and Night Shift Available 12-hour shifts Rotating 3-4-3-4 schedule Consistent full-time hours with built-in days off Key Responsibilities Lead and support daily production operations while ensuring safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives are met. Supervise and develop a team of approximately 15-30 production employees and team leads. Provide coaching, mentoring, performance feedback, and employee development planning. Establish and maintain clear expectations regarding safety, productivity, attendance, quality, and workplace conduct. Drive employee engagement and foster a positive, team-oriented work environment. Promote and enforce compliance with all company safety, quality, environmental, and operational policies. Lead root cause analysis and structured problem-solving efforts to address production challenges. Drive Lean Manufacturing and 5S initiatives to improve efficiency, productivity, and workplace organization. Conduct performance discussions, training initiatives, and cross-training programs. Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, Planning, Logistics, Human Resources, and EHS teams to achieve production goals. Monitor staffing levels, balance workloads, and ensure operational demands are met. Manage multiple priorities and make sound decisions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or a related field. Previous leadership experience in a manufacturing, production, industrial, or operations environment. Experience leading teams of 20+ employees preferred. Strong communication, coaching, and employee development skills. Experience managing performance, attendance, conflict resolution, and employee accountability. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles, continuous improvement, and 5S methodologies. Experience conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel). Experience working with ERP/MRP systems. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Work Environment This position is based in a manufacturing facility and requires a strong presence on the production floor. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Windsor, CO. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
