At the Sikorsky West Palm Beach Facility, we are at the forefront of aircraft manufacturing, specializing in the production and testing of cutting-edge aircraft components. Our team plays a critical role in the development and production of helicopters and fixed-wing aircraft known for their unmatched performance, reliability, and mission capabilities. THE WORK
  • As the Production Supervisor, you will lead and direct a team of at least 15 hourly bargaining unit employees, overseeing their activities related to aircraft manufacturing and testing.
  • You will be responsible for planning and directing department activities to meet production goals and quality standards, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Your role will involve maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements, managing budgets and schedules, and ensuring the ongoing development and training of your team.

This is for a Second Shift role.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Must have 4+ years of experience in manufacturing and/or a maintenance background.
  • Prior experience in a leadership role.
Desired Skills:
  • Must have experience leading personnel; prefer experience leading bargaining unit personnel.
  • Experience and demonstrated working knowledge of aircraft maintenance and flight line operations.
  • Rotary wing experience highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate orally, in writing, and in group sessions as a member or leader.
  • Demonstrated experience in continuous improvement activities, including Lean Six Sigma.

Work Schedules:

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
