Job Title:
Welder Supervisor Job Description This exciting role involves supervising a team of welders who are responsible for producing custom aluminum cable trays tailored to the needs of manufacturing sites and warehouses. The position requires fast-paced production welding to meet customer specifications. Responsibilities Supervise and lead a team of welders in the production of aluminum cable trays. Ensure welders adhere to safety and quality standards. Perform setup, adjustments, and operation of welding machines. Interpret and fabricate based on drawings and blueprints. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines. Essential Skills Proficiency in welding, including MIG and aluminum welding. At least 1-2 years of supervisory experience in a production environment. Ability to interpret drawings and blueprints. Competency in using basic fabricating tools such as tape measures. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in fabrication and production. Strong organizational skills to manage fast-paced and sometimes disorganized environments. Why Work Here? Work Environment The work environment is non-climate controlled, loud, and fast-paced, requiring adaptability. The position operates on a 2nd shift from 4 PM to 12:30 AM, Monday through Friday, with one mandatory Saturday a month. The role includes a $1.00 shift differential, adding to the competitive compensation. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of White, GA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
