Unit Supervisor

Job Description

Production Supervisor responsible for leading manufacturing and warehouse operations to achieve production, safety, quality, delivery, and continuous improvement objectives. Job Requirements Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience Experience supporting shop floor manufacturing and/or warehouse operations Experience supervising production employees Experience working across supply management, engineering, operations, and human resources functions Ability to work across shifts based on production requirements Experience monitoring production schedules and manufacturing output Experience addressing workmanship and production quality issues Preferred Skills Experience with Continuous Improvement Pay Plans (CIPP) Experience with union or wage employee policies, procedures, practices, and work rules Experience supervising a union workforce Working knowledge of Continuous Improvement methodologies Experience with 5S Experience with ergonomic risk assessment processes Experience with production safety programs Job Responsibilities Lead production personnel to meet manufacturing and distribution priorities Execute production schedules and monitor production output Manage safety, quality, delivery, and efficiency performance Implement continuous improvement plans and activities Ensure production employees receive required training, work instructions, and tools Conduct safety communications and support ergonomic risk assessment activities Manage near-miss reporting and corrective action processes Monitor production plans and troubleshoot workmanship issues Ensure manufactured products meet established quality requirements Track individual and group production performance Administer corrective action and disciplinary processes in accordance with established policies and work rules Support compliance with employee policies, procedures, and union requirements Coordinate production activities across supply management, engineering, operations, and human resources
Pay:
