You will supervise hourly teams, coordinate production schedules, monitor quality, and drive continuous improvement to meet safety, output, and cost targets. Responsibilities include troubleshooting equipment issues, optimizing workflow, tracking KPIs, and ensuring adherence to environmental and safety standards. You will partner with maintenance, logistics, and management to improve reliability and minimize downtime while coaching employees, supporting development, and fostering a culture of integrity and sustainability. Responsibilities Lead daily planer mill operations to meet safety, quality, and production targets Supervise, schedule, and coach hourly production employees Ensure strict compliance with safety, environmental, and company policies Monitor product quality and implement corrective actions as needed Coordinate with maintenance to minimize downtime and improve reliability Analyze production data and KPIs to drive process improvements Manage workflow, materials, and resources to optimize throughput Support hiring, onboarding, and performance management of team members Lead and participate in continuous improvement and lean initiatives Foster a culture of integrity, collaboration, and sustainability Required Skills Production management Mill or manufacturing operations Safety management (OSHA awareness) Quality control and inspection Lean/continuous improvement Supervisory and team leadership Maintenance coordination Data/KPI tracking and reporting Scheduling and resource planning Troubleshooting production issues
