Full Benefits Package JMT Staffing is working with a well-established manufacturing company in the Lawrence area that is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor to join its 2nd shift team. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced production environment and leading a team toward safety, quality, and productivity goals. Responsibilities Lead daily shift meetings and communicate production priorities, safety expectations, and performance goals. Supervise and support production associates throughout the shift. Coordinate staffing, equipment, materials, and workflow to meet production schedules. Monitor production pacing, job sequencing, changeovers, and order readiness. Identify and resolve production and quality issues and implement corrective actions. Monitor safety, quality, productivity, and adherence to standard work. Conduct routine production and quality audits. Coach employees and provide ongoing performance feedback. Enter and review production and quality data and complete required system transactions. Work closely with other supervisors and department leadership to maintain smooth shift transitions. Support Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives. Provide technical assistance and training to team members as needed. Communicate equipment and maintenance issues to the appropriate teams. Assist with payroll and other administrative responsibilities. Maintain a safe, organized, and compliant work environment. Qualifications At least 1 year of manufacturing experience . Previous leadership, supervisory, or team-lead experience preferred. Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles preferred. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment. Comfortable leading a team and providing coaching and feedback. Basic math skills and attention to detail. Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Excel experience preferred. Ability to consistently follow and enforce established procedures and standard work. Bilingual skills are a plus. Willingness to support occasional schedule flexibility, including weekend or pre/post-shift coverage.
