This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for driving production, improving efficiency, developing employees, and ensuring quality and on-time customer deliveries. This job operates in a dedicated laboratory in a professional manufacturing environment. Ideal Background We are looking for supervisors with experience in: Sheet metal fabrication Precision metal manufacturing Aerospace or industrial manufacturing Medical Manufacturing What You'll Do Supervise and develop a team of up to 20 assembly employees Schedule daily production activities to meet customer deadlines Improve productivity, quality, and workflow throughout the assembly department Train, mentor, and support group leaders and production employees Monitor safety, quality, housekeeping, and production performance Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to resolve production issues Lead continuous improvement and Lean manufacturing initiatives Utilize ERP/MRP systems to support production scheduling and manufacturing operations Physical Demands Occasionally lift and move up to 50 lbs Visual acuity Manual Dexterity Required Competencies Strong working knowledge of ERP Manufacturing systems (shop floor, production) Ability to lead a team of employees in problem solving efforts Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written in English, with focus on respect, diplomacy and empathy Strong leadership skills and desire to learn new skills Strong computer skills, including MS office products Detail Orientated Team player - customer-centric Decisive under Qualifications 5+ years of manufacturing leadership experience Experience leading production teams in a manufacturing environment ERP or MRP manufacturing system experience IPC-610, J-std, and IPC-620 experience/certification Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Lean Manufacturing experience is a plus Working experience with precision measuring tools: Calipers, micrometers, fixed and variable gaging High School Diploma Apply today for immediate consideration! #IND123
