As needed Job Description Schulte Staffing is seeking an experienced Assembly Supervisor for a well-established precision manufacturing company in Peabody, MA. This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for someone with a strong manufacturing background who enjoys leading teams, improving production processes, and ensuring quality standards are met. The Assembly Supervisor will oversee daily production activities, coordinate workflow, and lead a team of up to 20 employees to ensure production goals, quality standards, and delivery deadlines are consistently achieved. Key Responsibilities Supervise daily assembly operations and coordinate employee assignments to maximize productivity and efficiency. Lead, train, mentor, and develop a team of up to 20 production employees. Monitor production schedules and ensure daily and weekly manufacturing goals are met. Identify opportunities to improve workflow, reduce production delays, and increase efficiency. Ensure products meet established quality standards and customer specifications. Provide hands-on guidance with assembly processes, equipment operation, and production tooling. Support Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives. Monitor equipment and tooling needs and coordinate routine maintenance. Conduct employee performance evaluations, provide feedback, and address performance concerns. Maintain a safe, organized, and productive manufacturing environment. Collaborate with other departments to resolve production issues and meet delivery commitments.

Qualifications Required:

High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Previous experience leading or supervising manufacturing or assembly personnel. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production scheduling, and quality control. Experience with IPC-A-610, J-STD, and/or

IPC/WHMA-A-620

standards or certifications. Ability to use precision measuring tools, including calipers, micrometers, and gauges. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and make decisions in a fast-paced production environment. Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred:

Experience with ERP/MRP manufacturing systems. Background in precision assembly, electromechanical assembly, or related manufacturing operations. Experience with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement. Experience in medical device or other highly regulated manufacturing environments. Additional technical education or college coursework. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the production floor. Ability to perform detailed visual inspections and work with precision components. Manual dexterity to handle small parts, tools, and equipment. Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodation. Apply Today!
