Job Description Reporting into the Production Manager, as the 2nd Shift Production Supervisor you will be responsible for the following: Supervise, guide, and lead all aspects of the 2nd shift production operations. Oversee and staff of around 40 individuals. Implement safety and quality control measures in line with company policies. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency. Collaborate with the team to troubleshoot any production issues. Manage employee performance and attendance and provide constructive feedback. Manage production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products. Enforce compliance with all local and federal safety regulations. Train new employees on company policies, safety procedures, and job duties. The Successful Applicant A successful 2nd Shift Production Supervisor should have: Bachelor's Degree but not required. Strong leadership skills. Experience in Lean Manufacturing. 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production related position. Proficiency in production planning and scheduling. In-depth knowledge of safety protocols and quality control measures. Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
