As a Plant Quality Coordinator, you are responsible for monitoring and auditing all manufacturing and administrative processes related to the Quality Management System. Below is a list of activities that you will / could perform on a daily basis.

• Act as a liaison between all Roaming Inspectors and to the Quality Supervisor within your assigned facility.
• Schedule and lead internal layered audit activities of Burgaflex processes within your facility.
• Monitor and disposition all products in and out of MRB in a timely manner.
• Participate in quarantine activities when non-conforming material is identified.
• Communicate with the quality supervisor, shift supervisor, company managers, and other leaders as necessary when non-conforming products are identified to alert other people and processes of suspect conditions.
• Assist the PPAP Coordinator with PPAP data collection as needed.
• Lead sorting activities as needed to prevent non-conforming material from escaping a process. Quarantine and communicate disposition of suspect and non-conforming material.
• Lead all rework activities on non-conforming material.
• Identify opportunities for improvement within your area of responsibility and throughout the organization. Report or suggest the same to the management team.

Tools and Core Competencies:

o Workable knowledge of

ISO / TS

16949 and 14001 standards. o Understand and interpret customer specifications and industry standards when directing or performing required internal audits. o Teachable knowledge in use of measuring tools, such as but not limited to; optical comparator, CMM Romer, calipers, tape measure, angle finder, pin gages, process fixtures and assorted measuring tools. o Communicating effectively with Burgaflex management personnel and executives. o Teachable knowledge of manufacturing process flow (internal customer). o Planning and auditing the direction of control plans, failure mode effects analysis, process flows and work instructions. o 8D problem resolution methodology. o Team participation in root cause and problem resolution. o Intermediate computer skills; Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and data entry.
