Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position is required to supervise production employees and product groups. Responsibilities include assistance in scheduling, hiring, evaluations, and discipline according to company policies and applicable laws.

Purpose:

Supervise the operations of assigned work areas to ensure a quality product is being produced in the safest, efficient, and timely manner. Promote safety, teamwork, and constant improvement on a daily basis.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

Ensure a safe work environment for self and others. Follows all safety rules and regulations. Demonstrate commitment to safety program.

The supervisor is responsible to deploy each production associate to a workstation to optimize production efficiencyMonitor the overall operations to ensure that we are producing a quality product at all timesSupport employees by continuing to monitor their progressMonitor daily production and report key information to the work center in a visible and understandable mannerWork directly with QA inspectors and manufacturing engineers to identify, improve, or resolve any opportunities that may ariseMonitor the daily, weekly, and monthly production requirements to ensure that all of the customer expectations are being metMaintain an assembly environment that is always safe, clean, and organized by utilizing our 5-S systemConduct employee performance evaluations / counseling reports as requiredPromote safety at all timesMonitor each employee's PTO slips and attendanceContinuously look for ways to improve our processes and procedures to improve quality, labor efficiencies, safety, and operating expensesComplete new employee orientation checklists as required from HR departmentPromote TEAM Industries Standards of Business ConductDemonstrate a commitment to the TEAM Industries Quality Management system and ObjectivesPromote a positive atmosphere. Actively support activities that promote the welfare and morale of TEAM employees.
