Responsibilities Supervise prepared plant production lines to meet safety, quality, and output targets Coordinate daily staffing, scheduling, and task assignments across shifts Monitor equipment performance and partner with maintenance to resolve issues quickly Ensure compliance with food safety, USDA, and company quality standards Train, coach, and evaluate production employees to build skills and performance Track and report KPIs, yields, waste, and downtime; drive continuous improvement Enforce safety policies and conduct regular audits and toolbox talks Collaborate with quality, maintenance, and logistics to support on-time orders Implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs Document production records, incidents, and corrective actions accurately Required Skills Production supervision Food manufacturing operations HACCP and food safety compliance USDA/Regulatory compliance Lean manufacturing/continuous improvement Staff scheduling and labor planning Performance coaching and training Safety management and OSHA awareness Data tracking and KPI reporting Basic equipment troubleshooting
