JOB SUMMARY

: Oversees and assess the automated production equipment process in assigned areas to ensure equipment optimization, utilization, and reliability.

DAILY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

: Plan and execute approved production control changes such as product backdating, bird drop parameters, and line assignments. Monitor and document downtime events, coordinate efforts with various support departments. Make adjustments/recommendations to address the downtime. Monitor the PDS system and ensure the escalation of issues to plant management ensuring quick resolution to the problem. Plan and implement process improvements resulting from the analysis of data and work processes. Provide accurate and timely reporting of production data. Assist production supervisors with the daily operation of facility equipment and the planning and coordination of shift activities. Ensure compliance with all established programs including safety, food safety, HACCP programs, SSOPs, and GMPs. Promote facility safety programs and a safe working environment. May perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION

Provide accurate and timely reporting of production data to managers and other plant leadership. MUST be proficient in using a computer and a variety of software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Attend meetings and training as required. MUST be able to communicate in a professional manner, both verbally and in writing at all times. MUST have solid skills in multi-tasking. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Ability to be a good representative of the Company and always display the highest levels of ethical behavior and integrity. All other duties not listed but requested by Production Management, Senior Leadership, and Human Resources.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

Experience in poultry or other food processing plants is highly preferred, but not required. Knowledge in process improvement principles is preferred. Higher education in leadership, manufacturing, logistics, or a related field is preferred, however experience in lieu of degree will always be considered. Bilingual skills in Spanish and/or Karen are preferred, but not required.
