2989444941-2 Apply for this job now Job Description Superior Metals Manufacturing seeks a Manufacturing Supervisor for our day shift to lead a metal fabrication and machining team. You will coordinate production schedules, assign work, and ensure products meet quality, safety, and customer specifications. Responsibilities include monitoring equipment and workflow, troubleshooting production issues, training and coaching operators, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives. You'll track performance metrics, maintain documentation, and enforce safety and 5S standards. This hands-on role works closely with maintenance, quality, and engineering to support on-time delivery in a fast-paced, precision-focused environment. Responsibilities Supervise day-shift production staff and assign daily work tasks. Manage production schedules to meet quality, cost, and delivery targets. Monitor equipment, workflow, and output, resolving production issues quickly. Enforce safety, OSHA, and 5 S standards across the production area. Train, coach, and evaluate operators and technicians. Collaborate with quality, maintenance, and engineering to optimize processes. Review and interpret blueprints and specifications for production. Track production metrics and maintain accurate shift reports and documentation. Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce waste. Coordinate shift handoffs and communicate priorities and issues to leadership.
