2989446124-2 Apply for this job now Job Description Superior Metals Manufacturing seeks a Manufacturing Supervisor for our day shift production operations. You will lead a team of metal fabrication and machining operators, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery. Responsibilities include assigning work, monitoring equipment and workflow, troubleshooting issues, and coordinating with maintenance and engineering. You will track production metrics, drive continuous improvement, and train team members on standard work and safety procedures. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, experience in metal manufacturing, and a commitment to precision and reliability. Responsibilities Supervise day-shift production staff in metal fabrication and machining operations Ensure adherence to safety procedures, PPE use, and OSHA requirements Monitor production schedules, assign work, and adjust resources to meet targets Inspect output for quality and coordinate with quality team to resolve defects Troubleshoot equipment and process issues, coordinating with maintenance as needed Track and report key production metrics such as throughput, scrap, and downtime Train and coach operators on standard work, equipment use, and safety practices Implement and support continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and quality Maintain accurate production records, shift reports, and documentation Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and management to meet customer and delivery requirements Required Skills Production supervision Metal fabrication Machining processes Lean manufacturing Quality control Safety compliance Root cause analysis Production scheduling Team leadership Continuous improvement
