Primary Responsibilities A constant presence on the production floor. Participates in daily assigned tasks while directing small teams of employees. Communicate in a positive manner with co-workers and Leadership. Lead daily departmental meetings. Attending regularly scheduled staff meetings with Leadership. Responsible for training in accordance with Company guidelines offering encouragement and performance feedback to team members. Resolve production issues in conjunction with Leadership. Communicate performance expectations to team members. Coordinate and monitor daily workload activities which include productivity tracking. Ensure the team has necessary tools and materials to complete assigned tasks. Monitors the operation of all equipment, safety, security, and housekeeping of the area and ensures company policies are followed. Utilize and assign team members where needed to ensure maximum efficiency and attainment of established production standards. Maintain a mature attitude and handle conflict situations. Communicate and manage changes to daily production plans. Embrace continuous improvement and lead the team to accept and implement change. Perform other duties as assigned.
