3005089952-2 Apply for this job now Job Description ProAmpac is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead production teams in our flexible packaging manufacturing facility. In this on-site role, you will coordinate daily shift activities, ensuring a safety-first environment while meeting quality, cost, and output goals. Responsibilities include scheduling work, monitoring equipment and product quality, enforcing safety and GMP standards, and maintaining accurate production records. You will train and coach operators, drive continuous improvement and 5S initiatives, and collaborate with maintenance, quality, and management to resolve issues and support ProAmpac's focus on innovation and sustainability. Responsibilities Lead and supervise shift production teams in a flexible packaging facility Schedule, assign, and monitor daily work to meet safety, quality, and output targets Enforce safety procedures and support a safety-first culture on the production floor Monitor equipment performance and coordinate basic troubleshooting or maintenance requests Ensure adherence to quality standards, GMPs, and customer specifications Train, coach, and evaluate operators and line workers to build skills and performance Track production metrics, downtime, and scrap, and report results to management Support continuous improvement, 5 S, and lean initiatives to optimize processes Coordinate shift handoffs and communicate priorities across departments Maintain accurate shift documentation, logs, and incident reports Required Skills Production scheduling Manufacturing operations Safety compliance and OSHA principles Quality control and GMPs Lean manufacturing/continuous improvement Team leadership and coaching Troubleshooting production issues Use of ERP or production tracking systems Shift reporting and documentation Root cause analysis
