Full-Time | Onsite Lead the Shift. Support the People. Keep Production Moving. We're looking for a Production Shift Manager to lead one of our manufacturing teams in Turtle Lake. This is a hands-on leadership role. You'll be out on the floor with your team, helping keep production running safely and efficiently while balancing the people, quality, food safety, and production needs that come with running a shift. We're looking for someone who can lead people, not simply manage a schedule. You'll set expectations, coach your team, address problems when they come up, and work closely with Quality, Maintenance, and other departments to keep the operation moving. If you're the kind of leader who knows what's happening on the floor, doesn't disappear when things get hectic, and can hold people accountable while still treating them like people, you'll probably fit right in. What You'll Do Lead the day-to-day production team and overall performance of your assigned shift. Keep production running safely, efficiently, and in line with quality and food safety requirements. Be present on the floor, supporting employees, answering questions, removing roadblocks, and addressing issues as they happen. Set clear expectations and hold team members accountable for safety, attendance, performance, quality, and workplace standards. Coach and develop employees, including providing feedback and helping newer team members get up to speed. Coordinate staffing and daily priorities to make sure the shift has the coverage it needs. Monitor production performance and adjust when equipment, staffing, materials, or priorities don't go according to plan. Partner closely with Quality, Maintenance, Warehouse, and other Operations leaders to troubleshoot problems and keep production moving. Communicate clearly between shifts so the next team knows what's happening rather than walking into surprises. Support continuous improvement and look for practical ways to make the operation safer, smoother, and more efficient. What We're Looking For Previous leadership experience in manufacturing, production, or a similar hands-on environment. Experience directly leading employees, including coaching, accountability, performance conversations, and day-to-day problem solving. Someone who's comfortable spending time on the production floor with the team, not leading exclusively from an office. Strong safety mindset and the confidence to stop or address something when it isn't right. Able to make decisions and stay level-headed when production doesn't go according to plan. Comfortable balancing people, production, quality, safety, and changing priorities throughout a shift. Strong communicator who can work effectively with hourly employees, fellow leaders, Quality, Maintenance, and other departments. Organized enough to manage staffing, production priorities, documentation, and shift handoffs without losing the details. Food or dairy manufacturing experience is strongly preferred. Experience with GMPs, food safety requirements, continuous improvement, and regulated manufacturing environments is a plus.
