Job Description
Position Summary The production control specialist is responsible for issuing and tracking work orders, ensuring that required materials are supplied to the production floor, as according to the production schedule. This position is also responsible for expediting and prioritizing work orders and coordinating and managing daily, weekly production schedules.
Raw material management. Communication Proficiency.
Data Management & Analysis.
Problem Solving. Time Management Essential Responsibilities Analyze customer orders and establish production schedules for timely delivery. Review change orders and execute them appropriately.
Work with purchasing: Order and manage the MRP (Material Requirement Planning) corresponding to the production schedules.
Create and update the work instructions. Control man power and coating area managers.
Investigate production control problems, analyze root causes, and derive solutions.
Develop positive relationship with staffs and customer to meet productivity goalsProvide relief support for Area Managers when requiredBe visible to employees on Production floor in assigned work area.
Maintain safety compliance of all workers by ensuring the use of required PPEEnsure compliance of all Company Policies and ProceduresBecome proficient in performing all jobs within assigned department with the ability to step in when necessary.
General Qualifications Education/Knowledge:
1. Bachelors degree in engineering and business; or a minimum five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 0-5 years of experience in production controlsVerbal and written communications skills.Computer software:
Microsoft Office, SAP, Advanced Excel Skills (required and preferred): Production Scheduling.Raw material management. Communication Proficiency.

Physical Demands/Work Environment:
