Packaging Line Lead Tandem Foods Bloomington, CA Job Details $20.28 an hour 9 hours ago Qualifications Team leadership Employee relationship building Leading team collaboration initiatives Mechanical knowledge Full Job Description The Packaging Lead will coordinate daily with Production Supervisors, Machine Operators and employees producing or packaging the finished product to ensure quality and efficient processes of product.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Monitor production and packaging teams during production activities to ensure adherence to ethics and safety procedures. Evaluate manufacturing equipment for safety and functionality. Ensure that products and goods manufactured meet quality standards obtainable in the industry. Motivate packaging and production teams to enhance production quantity and at the same time maintain high production standards. Check finished products to ensure quality, and that industry standards are met before they are declared ready for use. Keep records of personnel performance. Keep records of equipment, budgets, deliveries, and supplies, and make them available to management for evaluation. Create work schedule for team employees and ensure that they strictly adhere to it; take attendance to ensure regularity and promptness. Work as middleman between packaging team and management to create healthy communication. Develop production schedule for the execution of projects in a timely manner. Ensure that work materials are present when needed. All other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Basic mechanical work experience Must be safety cautious Ability to give directions to team members Have good time management skills Possess strong interpersonal skills to relate with all members of the team May be required to stand for long periods of time and involve some repetitive motions May also engage in frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing, and pulling of parts and part containers, lifting up to 50 lbs
Safety & Food Quality:
Report all safety incidents that occur in their area of responsibility Behaves and encourages others to behave safely Comply with BRC, HACCP and GMP policies, procedures as well as FDA and USDA regulations
Continuous Improvement:
Continuous feedback from plant leadership on job performance and improvement areas Gluten Program Adherence Comply with all hygiene, environmental, health and safety requirements as laid down in policy and as trained Responsible for maintaining good hygiene within the business unit line with regulatory, company and customer requirements
