This position involves building mattresses according to production specifications while using a variety of pneumatic and hand-operated tools. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working on their feet in a fast-paced team environment, able to handle physically demanding work, and capable of following detailed production instructions. Key Responsibilities Assemble mattresses according to established work instructions and production tickets. Operate pneumatic tools such as C-ring/hog-ring guns, staple guns, and hot glue guns. Build Hot Melt Bond (HMB) units using the HMB machine. Apply specified upholstery layers to HMB, open coil, and foam-encased pocketed coil units. Perform foam encasing and complete final mattress assembly. Follow production specifications and ensure finished products meet quality standards. Understand and follow written instructions and production tickets in English. Follow verbal directions and communicate clearly and respectfully with coworkers and management. Work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced and changing production environment. Qualifications Manufacturing experience and/or previous use of pneumatic tools preferred. Ability to stand and walk for 8+ hours per shift , including overtime when required. Ability to repeatedly lift and handle materials weighing up to 120 lbs. during a shift. Heavy items must be team-lifted. Reliable transportation is required, as the facility is not accessible by public transportation during overtime hours. Strong attendance and dependability are essential; unexcused absences are not acceptable. Ability to work cooperatively and follow established safety and production procedures. Shifts & Pay 1st
Shift:
$20/hr Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-2:30 PM Overtime may extend the shift until 4:00 PM Some Saturdays may be required based on production needs. 2nd
Shift:
$21/hr Monday-Friday, 4:30 PM-1:00 AM Overtime may extend the shift until 3:00 AM Some Saturdays may be required based on production needs.
