SHIPPING, RECEIVING & PRODUCTION ASSOCIATE
Location:
Suffield, CT Pay:
$17.50 per hour
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m.

Temporary Position Overview Adecco is currently hiring a Shipping, Receiving & Production Associate for a first-shift opportunity in Suffield, Connecticut. This hybrid position will support daily shipping and receiving operations while assisting the Weld Tech production department as needed. The ideal candidate will have previous warehouse or manufacturing experience, strong organizational skills, and the flexibility to perform both inventory-related and hands-on production duties. Responsibilities Receive incoming shipments and verify materials against packing slips and purchase orders. Inspect incoming products for visible damage, shortages, or discrepancies. Accurately document received materials and enter information into the appropriate systems. Prepare, package, label, and stage outgoing orders for shipment. Generate and organize shipping documents, packing slips, and related paperwork. Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts. Move materials to designated storage and production areas. Pick and stage components needed for manufacturing operations. Assist Weld Tech Machine Operators with loading and unloading materials. Support basic production and assembly activities as assigned. Operate pallet jacks, carts, and other material-handling equipment safely. Maintain an organized warehouse, shipping area, and production workspace. Follow all company safety, quality, and operating procedures. Perform additional warehouse and manufacturing duties as needed. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, or manufacturing experience preferred. Familiarity with packing slips, purchase orders, shipping labels, and inventory documentation. Basic computer and data-entry skills. Ability to accurately count, organize, and track materials. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Willingness to assist in both warehouse and production areas. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform the physical duties required in a warehouse and manufacturing environment. Pay Details:
