Project Assistant Location:

Windsor Locks, CT 1st Shift

• Hours flexible - core hours between 7 a.

m. and 6 p.m.

Pay Rate:

$46.13 Contractor benefits: Medical, Vision, Dental, 401k 100% Onsite US Citizenship Required.

Description/Comment:

• This associate will assist in the Jet Fuel Controls Value Stream of a very active Repair Station. Assisting the Value Stream Leader and Operations Team Leaders on 1st and 2nd shift with Daily Operations Tasks.
• Additional tasks to those outlined below may be assigned based on business need.

Duties:

• Correct TPM, 5S and Tool Control Accountability deficiencies.
• Compile and review metrics daily.
• Track Kaizen activity and support team members to implement.
• Communicate part status updates effectively with key stakeholders.
• Maintain machine and equipment calibration schedules to support operations.
• Develop productivity projects to reduce cost and cycle time.
• Prior experience in a fast-paced environment preferred.

Education/ Experience:

• Associate degree, or work experience in lieu of a degree is acceptable.

Preferred Skills:

• Fluency with Excel, Word, and SAP.
• Strong interpersonal skills with all levels of stakeholders.
