Position Summary We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Production Assistant to support the safe, accurate, and timely manufacture and packaging of NutraMedix products. This role follows current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), approved procedures, and quality standards, while providing limited warehouse support as operational needs require. Key Responsibilities• Production Set up, operate, and monitor production and packaging equipment within training and authorization. Follow approved manufacturing records, work orders, batch instructions, specifications, and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Verify that the correct raw materials, packaging components, labels, lot numbers, and quantities are staged before production; report discrepancies immediately. Perform manufacturing, filling, labeling, packaging, and case-packing activities accurately and according to schedule. Complete production records, equipment logs, cleaning logs, and material-usage records accurately and in real time. Perform and document required in-process checks; monitor products and equipment, and promptly escalate quality concerns, deviations, or equipment issues. Comply with cGMP, safety, sanitation, hygiene, allergen-control, quality, PPE, and gowning requirements. Clean and sanitize production equipment, utensils, rooms, and work surfaces; support line clearance and product changeovers. Warehouse Support Pick, stage, transfer, and return raw materials, packaging components, and finished goods. Assist with receiving, internal transfers, cycle counts, and physical inventory as assigned. Organize materials by assigned location and lot while maintaining accurate inventory identification. Maintain clean, safe, and organized warehouse and material-staging areas. Operate pallet jacks or forklifts only when trained, certified, and authorized. Other Duties Support training, audits, investigations, and continuous-improvement activities as assigned. Perform other related duties based on production and supply-chain priorities.
Qualifications Required:
High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to read and follow manufacturing instructions, quality documents, safety rules, labels, and SOPs. Ability to perform basic arithmetic, measurements, counts, and conversions accurately. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds safely.
Preferred:
At least one year of related manufacturing, production, packaging, warehouse, or similar experience; an equivalent combination of education and training will be considered. Experience in a dietary supplement, food, pharmaceutical, or other FDA-regulated or quality-controlled environment. Forklift certification. Skills & Competencies Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and communicate concerns promptly. Dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work effectively as part of a team. Strong organization and time-management skills with the ability to adapt to changing priorities. Basic computer and data-entry skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office. Ability to maintain accurate records and protect the traceability of materials and finished goods.
