Additionally, it is expected that the work area and anywhere of interaction is clean, organized, free from garbage, and most of all to follow the implemented safety standards. Whenever a safety irregularity is seen, we expect you to take or cause to act by informing the proper department. Summary The Production Specialist is responsible for the production and/or packaging of a variety of manufactured products. Duties subject to change based on the production needs of the company. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform production duties such as manual lifting, packaging, taping, labeling, and sorting. Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the leaders.
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations as set my management (subject to change based on company needs)
• Must complete repetitive work tasks and be able to remain focused on counting and recording numbers.
• Perform related duties as assigned by leaders.
• Break down cardboard for recycling as needed.
• Wear required company supplied PPE as directed.
• Maintain production time expectations as set by management.
• Duties subject to change based on the production needs of the company & market demand. Requirements
• Understand and follow basic verbal and written instructions.
• Effectively communicate information and respond to questions from various levels within the organization.
• Possess basic mathematical skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Perform basic visual quality inspections on products.
• Failure to meet production role expectations will result in disciplinary action up to and including termination. Physical Demands
• Required to stand for long periods of time, repetitive movements.
• Must be able to lift to 50 pounds floor to waist.
• May also engage in frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing, and pulling of boxes.
• Exposure to raw food constantly.
