Job Description

Ambassador Personnel is seeking a General Labor Production Worker to support our food production operation. Employees may be assigned to a variety of production areas based on business needs, including Stacking, Grading, Washing Lugs, Ingredient Filling, Packing, Material Building, and Quality Control. This is a fast-paced food production environment requiring reliable attendance, attention to detail, and the ability to work as part of a team.
Production Responsibilities Packer:
Stand for extended periods and perform repetitive production tasks. Prepare cartons by manually folding them. Place clamshell products into cartons according to customer specifications. Inspect products for quality issues, including expired dates, unsealed items, and damaged packaging. Place completed cartons onto the production belt for sealing. Follow all required food safety and PPE procedures.
Ingredient Filler:
Measure food ingredients from designated containers. Place ingredients into moving clamshells on the production line. Work as part of a team with other ingredient fillers to maintain production flow. Follow all required food safety and PPE procedures.
Material Builder:
Operate the box machine and place cardboard sheets into the machine. Monitor the machine as it folds and glues boxes. Stack finished boxes and place completed cartons onto pallets. Maintain an organized and safe work area.
QC Technician:
Inspect and monitor products, processing, and packaging to ensure compliance with company, customer, state, and federal requirements. Monitor Critical Control Points (CCPs). Perform ongoing quality checks on products. Accurately document findings and submit reports to management. Follow HACCP, GMP, and food safety requirements. General Responsibilities Follow all company policies and procedures. Demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail. Follow all safety and security procedures. Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Adapt to frequent changes in assignments or production needs. Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality. Follow instructions and respond appropriately to management direction. Perform assigned essential duties satisfactorily. Understand and follow HACCP, GMP, and CCP requirements. Qualifications Ability to read and understand safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to use common sense and understand and follow detailed instructions. Previous food production experience is helpful but not required. Must be dependable and able to work as part of a team. Physical Requirements Regularly stand and walk for extended periods. Frequently use hands and arms to reach, handle, and move materials and finished products. Occasionally stoop, kneel, or crouch. Ability to regularly lift up to 30 lbs., with occasional lifting of more than 30 lbs. Work Environment Regular exposure to cold temperatures. Occasional exposure to extremely cold temperatures for shorter periods. Fast-paced food production environment. Employees are required to wear appropriate PPE, including blue smocks, gloves, hairnets, and beard nets when applicable. Pay:
$13.50 per hour
