Manufacturing Associate $22.04/hr 2nd shift : M-F 3p-11p overtime and weekends as needed (Will need to train on 1st shift for first 3 weeks) The Opportunity The Manufacturing Associate supports packaging production operations through material handling, machine support, quality inspections, setup assistance, and housekeeping activities. This role provides broad exposure to manufacturing processes and serves as a key contributor to plant safety, quality, and operational performance. How You Will Impact Smurfit Westrock Support production equipment and operators in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Perform quality checks to ensure products meet customer specifications. Assist with machine setup, changeovers, material loading, and troubleshooting. Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas. Contribute to productivity and continuous improvement initiatives across the facility. What You Need to Succeed High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous manufacturing experience preferred but not required. Ability to read, write, and communicate in basic English. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods. Demonstrated learning mindset, teamwork, adaptability, and commitment to safety.
