Position Summary Advanced coating personnel capable of operating most equipment in the coating department and assisting in most coating manufacturing functions. This position specializes in rollup operation. Key Responsibilities Perform all sew-on, rollup, and packaging tasks with limited supervision May perform tasks using lift truck equipment Process transactions in NAV Assist in inventory tasks Maintain a clean and safe work environment Assist in minor preventative maintenance tasks Primary rollup operator for all coating lines Direct rollup and packaging team as necessary Capable of operating some equipment in the Coating Department. Required Qualifications Basic Computer skills Ability to interact with others (co-workers, supervisors, vendors, and general public) in a professional manner, to accept constructive criticism from Supervisors and equals. Basic mathematics skills are required. Ability to read and understand documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Quality verbal and written communication ability. Ability to analyze and solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations. Scope Operations - Coating Supervisory Responsibilities This role does not have any supervisory responsibilities. Work Environment This role operates inside the coating department at Hill Rd. facility. This is an onsite job and is NOT remote. Regular and predictive attendance is mandatory. Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand for long periods of time; walk; use hands and finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms The employee is required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently life and move objects up to 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
