Job Description

SUMMARY OF POSITION
The General Production Labor positions at FPL Food Further Processing facility in Thomasville, Georgia are responsible for following procedures to process beef into grinds, hamburger patties, chubs. Responsible for achieving goals set by General Manager on line speed and quality of work. Must ensure operations run smoothly, efficiently, cleanly, safely, remain in compliance at all times and contribute to team effort.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Assist with beef further processing which may include, stacking, packing, sealing, weighing, sorting, etc. Assembly line work with repetitive motion.. Use tools and machinery including, but not limited to, knives, wrap products, scales, grinders, and other hand or power tools. Most general labor positions will rotate to other positions and production lines. Physical requirements and environment Stand for long periods of time performing, physical and repetitive line work. Gripping, grasping, and lifting or pushing up to 50 pounds is required.  Must be able to withstand cold temperatures and work in a wet environment.
Education:
High School diploma or GED preferred
Schedule Hours:
Starting between 5:15AM or 6AM - 3:30PM
