In Person - Hayden, Idaho Job Description Country Cleaners has proudly served North Idaho since 1975, and we're looking for a dependable, hardworking Production Team Member to join our team. This is a hands-on position working throughout our production department, including garment pressing, finishing, quality control, and bagging. You'll be trained in multiple areas of our operation and will help wherever needed to keep production moving and customer orders completed accurately and on time. Some days you may spend more time pressing garments, while other days you'll focus on bagging and preparing completed orders. We're looking for someone who enjoys staying busy, takes pride in quality work, and is willing to learn different aspects of the dry-cleaning business. No previous dry-cleaning experience is required. We provide paid, hands-on training for the right person. This is a full-time, year-round position, not seasonal employment. What You'll Do Professionally press and finish pants, shirts, blouses, jackets, dresses, and other garments using commercial pressing and steam equipment. Bag, package, and organize finished garments for customer pickup and delivery. Match garments to the correct customer orders and ensure orders are complete and accurate. Inspect garments throughout production for stains, damage, missing buttons, pressing issues, and other quality concerns. Learn proper handling and finishing techniques for different fabrics and garment types. Maintain consistent production quality while working at an appropriate pace. Safely operate commercial pressing, steam, and finishing equipment. Perform routine operator-level cleaning and basic equipment care. Notify management of equipment problems or maintenance needs. Assist with tagging, locating orders, and general garment handling. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized production area. Work cooperatively with other team members to keep production moving. Perform other production-related duties as needed. What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is: Dependable, punctual, and committed to consistent attendance. Positive, hardworking, and proud of doing quality work. Previous garment-pressing or dry-cleaning experience is a plus, but not required. Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods. Ability to perform repetitive hand, arm, and upper-body movements. Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds. Comfortable working around commercial steam and pressing equipment in a warm production environment. Schedule This is a full-time, year-round position averaging approximately 32-40 hours per week. Our production department operates Monday through Friday during daytime hours. Daily schedules are based on production needs. Employees may be released early with management approval when the day's production is complete. Fridays are often lighter and may not require a full shift. No evening or weekend shifts. Pay & Benefits Starting Pay & Training $17.00 per hour during paid, hands-on training. $18.00 per hour upon successful completion of training. Performance review after 90 days, with the potential for an additional pay increase based on performance, reliability, and demonstrated skills. Employee Benefits Paid time off (PTO).
