Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Associate to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the assembly, processing, and quality assurance of products within a fast-paced production environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical aptitude, familiarity with factory operations, and a commitment to safety standards. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to efficient manufacturing processes while developing technical skills in a dynamic setting. Responsibilities
  • Line Associates may be required to operate several pieces of equipment; including boxing equipment, box taping equipment, scales, packing tables, glue guns, sticker applicators, date code applicators, material handling bins, pallet jacks, pallet tilters, etc.
  • Required to perform all duties in accordance with company SOPs, GMPs, and guidelines listed in the company handbook
  • Expected to work safely, and efficiently
  • Responsible for line sanitation and ensuring proper clean up at the end of the shift
  • Required to set up the line for production; including retrieving items from the BOM
  • Responsible for ensuring proper quality standards are maintained
  • Responsible to uphold and maintain the food safety and quality systems
  • Line Associates must ensure that all labels are appropriate, that all packaging meet our high-quality standards and that all packaged items contain the correct materials from the BOM, and that cases are filled properly
  • Participate in on-going training to enhance knowledge and skills
  • Responsible for achieving and assisting in recording production numbers
  • Work any assignment as directed by supervisor
  • Assure regular and timely attendance per company guidelines
  • Remove debris and waste from floors
  • Sort rejected product into appropriate container for repacking, reworking or disposal
  • Inspect cases for proper code dates, seals or damage and immediately report occurrences to supervisor.
  • Must be willing and able to read factory documents as necessary to understand and follow equipment operation, quality standards and safety procedures
  • Help with the line set up and shut down procedures Start and stop the automatic machines like conveyors, case sealers, feed hoppers Perform other .
Requirements Prior experience working in a factory or manufacturing facility is highly preferred. Proficiency with forklift operation and familiarity with warehouse procedures. Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and mechanical assembly techniques. Ability to interpret technical drawings, manufacturing instructions, and production documentation. Knowledge of measuring instruments used for quality control purposes. Physical capability for manual handling tasks including heavy lifting. Understanding of safety standards in production environments and adherence to safety protocols. Strong mechanical knowledge and problem-solving skills related to manufacturing processes. Experience with process improvement methodologies such as lean manufacturing is advantageous. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team setting.
