Temporary Production worker Mount Carmel 1st shift $17.26 Responsibilities or job duties: Set up, operate, and monitor production equipment and machinery in a high-volume manufacturing environment. Operate various types of machinery safely and efficiently while meeting production goals. Perform assembly and production tasks requiring consistent hand movement, speed, and attention to detail. Handle and manipulate small parts accurately throughout the production process. Conduct routine machine inspections and preventative maintenance checks to ensure equipment operates properly. Perform visual quality inspections of products, packaging, and labels to ensure they meet company standards. Receive, organize, and properly store incoming products and materials. Pick, prepare, package, and stage finished goods for shipment. Assist with shipping activities and ensure products are accurately prepared for delivery. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area through regular housekeeping and facility organization. Participate in Kaizen and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce warehouse costs, improve efficiency, and increase productivity. Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and initiatives to promote a safe working environment. Perform other production and warehouse duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

2 years of experience in a warehouse setting preferred. Able to perform repetitive work over a long period of time. Attention to detail and quality performance. Able to work overtime Basic computer skills and experience with handheld scanners is a plus.
