POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking enthusiastic, dependable, detail-oriented Production Associates to work full-time at a Plastic Container Manufacturer in Northwestern Indiana. This position is responsible for loading, moving material, and operating packaging equipment. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts are available.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Demonstrates punctuality and adheres to work schedule. Demonstrates a Teamwork attitude by working well and effectively with others. Adheres to company General Manufacturing Policies. Keeps the work area neat, clean, and organized. Monitor conveyor belts and clear bottle jams from lines. Performs bottle inspections. Monitor supply levels and replenish as needed.

Ensure correct labeling, bottle description, and packaging of product. Move finished goods to designated area. Ensure efficient set up and organization of workstations.

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience:

General warehouse, packaging, or production experience preferred but not required. Basic mathematical skills are required. Basic computer experience

Education:

High school diploma or GED preferred.

Physical Demands:

Frequent standing and walking, Frequent use of hands to grasp, handle, and feel. May be required to reach out, over, and below with hands and arms. Occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and or crawl. Frequent lifting, pushing, and pulling and moving up to 50 lbs.

Work Environment:

Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts in a production environment. Noise level is typically loud. Temperature inside the plant can fluctuate between cold and hot according to seasonal changes. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required in production department and other designated areas.

Pay:

$18.50 - $20.50 per hour Expected hours: 36.0 - 40.0 per week
