Responsible for various types of preparation operations to manufacture product to customer drawings, specifications or other forms of instruction. Job Functions include, but are not limited to:

• Layout, position, align, secure, rivet, screw, glue, tape, assemble parts and components utilizing fixtures, electrical hoists, hydraulic lift, jacks, straight edges, combination squares, calipers, rulers and various other manual and power tools
• Examine workpieces for defects and measure workpieces with straight edges or templates to ensure conformance with specifications
• Recognize, set up, and operate hand and power tools
• Clamp, hold, or grind bolt components to obtain required configurations and positions
• Ability to communicate well and conduct themselves in a professional manner in order to interpret verbal and written instruction, drawings, and interact with team members, vendors, and customers
• Detail oriented
• Troubleshoot, install and repair general electrical problems
• Interpretation of mechanical drawings
