Overview
IMMEDIATE HIRE
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Worker to join our manufacturing team in the food grade facility. This role involves supporting the production process by operating equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and maintaining a clean and efficient work environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of food safety regulations, manufacturing management, and sanitation practices. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to high-quality food grade facility production while adhering to strict regulatory standards such as FDA regulations, HACCP, CGMP, and GMP. Pay starts at $12 during evaluation period 2/2/3 schedule 12 hour shifts Day & Night spots Duties Operate food grade machinery and packaging equipment in accordance with established procedures and safety standards. Follow detailed work instructions to ensure products meet quality standards in production. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, adhering to sanitation protocols and food safety management practices. Monitor production lines for defects or deviations, promptly addressing issues to prevent contamination or waste. Assist in managing inventory levels using SAP or other inventory management systems. Ensure compliance with regulatory and legal standards related to food safety, HACCP, CGMP, and FDA regulations. Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for process enhancements and efficiency gains. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets while maintaining safety standards. Document production activities accurately and report any safety concerns or quality issues immediately. Experience Prior experience working in a food processing plant or manufacturing environment within the food & beverage industry. Knowledge of food safety management systems, HACCP principles, GMP, and sanitation procedures. Familiarity with manufacturing management tools such as SAP or similar ERP systems. Understanding of regulatory compliance standards relevant to food production. Basic math skills for measurements, weight calculations, and quality checks. Mechanical knowledge related to operating and troubleshooting processing equipment. Proven ability to manage tasks efficiently while maintaining high safety standards in a fast-paced environment. Experience supervising or managing production or assembly teams is advantageous but not mandatory. Strong communication skills for managerial coordination and team collaboration.
