Join the Tandem Team! The Production Assistant position is responsible for a variety of tasks that keep the production facility running efficiently. The production assistant requires use of machinery like mixers, ovens, dough formers, and the use of knives. This position is a full-time position, Thursday through Monday from 7am to 3pm. Pay for Production Assistant starts at $17/hr.

Responsibilities:

Understanding and adhering to food safety standards and regulations Ensure timely arrival and consistent attendance to shifts beginning at 7AM Selecting bagels for cafes that meet our quality standards with high accuracy Lifting 50# of product (flour, eggs, cream cheese) at a time. Cutting and lifting dough ranging from 20#-40# out of a mixing bowl Understanding of and ability to follow a metric recipes for a variety of pastries, granola and other seed mixes Scaling, mixing, scooping cream cheese production that meet our quality standards with high accuracy Prepping produce for the cafe and following recipes for prep salads Use of large bakery (ovens, mixers, slicers) equipment safely after training This job requires standing for long periods of time End of shift cleaning tasks that meet our facility standards daily
