Job Description
Job Summary Flaky Crust Pies is looking for a reliable, hardworking person to join our team for the busy holiday season. This is a hands-on position helping with pie production and keeping the kitchen clean and organized. The position runs from October through December, with the possibility of staying on after the holidays for the right person.
Schedule:
Monday, Wednesday & Friday 9:00 AM-3:00 PM
•possible schedule changes prior to holidays
Pay:
$19/hour Responsibilities Assist with mixing and portioning pie dough Help with prep for pie dough production Assemble savory pies Help assemble sweet pies leading up to our busy Thanksgiving and Christmas seasons Wash dishes and keep the kitchen, equipment, and work areas clean and organized Follow food safety and sanitation practices Help with general kitchen tasks as needed Provide friendly customer service during the holiday season when needed. Customer service will only be part of the job during the holidays, not every shift. What We're Looking For Reliable and dependable Comfortable working on your feet and doing hands-on kitchen work Able to follow recipes and instructions carefully Good attention to detail Comfortable with repetitive production work and doing the same tasks consistently throughout a shift Works well independently and as part of a small team Previous bakery, kitchen, or food-service experience is helpful Must be comfortable working in a busy kitchen during the holiday season This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with food and wants to be part of a small bakery during our busiest time of year. We are happy to consider keeping the right person on after the holiday season.
Pay:
$19.00 per hour Expected hours: 15.0 - 25.0 per week
