Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Apparel Finishing & Quality Control Associate to join our production team. This role is responsible for performing final quality inspections on printed and embroidered garments, ensuring all orders meet customer specifications, and preparing completed orders for shipment. This position plays a critical role in maintaining our quality standards and ensuring every order leaves our facility accurate, clean, and professionally packaged. Responsibilities Quality Control & Inspection Inspect finished garments (screen print, embroidery, heat press) for quality, accuracy, and consistency Verify designs, placement, colors, sizes, and quantities against work orders and customer specifications Identify defects such as loose threads, misprints, stains, or incorrect items and determine if rework or rejection is required Trim excess threads, remove backing, and perform minor touch-ups when needed Order Processing & Packaging Count, sort, fold, and organize garments by size, style, and order Package finished goods according to company standards and customer requirements Label, tag, and prepare orders for shipping or customer pickup Ensure all items are clean, presentable, and correctly packed before leaving the facility Workflow & Coordination Read and follow work orders, job tickets, and special instructions carefully Communicate quality issues with production staff to resolve errors quickly Maintain organization of completed orders in staging/shipping areas Assist with general production support as needed Qualifications Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to follow instructions and manage multiple orders simultaneously Basic understanding of apparel decoration (embroidery, screen printing, etc.) preferred but not required Good communication and teamwork skills Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods Frequent bending, lifting, and handling of garments and boxes Ability to lift up to 30-50 lbs Preferred Experience (Not Required) Experience in apparel production, quality control, or warehouse fulfillment Familiarity with garment decoration processes (embroidery, screen printing, heat press) What Success Looks Like in This Role Orders are shipped 100% accurate and on time Quality issues are caught before leaving the building Work area remains clean, organized, and efficient Strong collaboration with production and shipping teams
Pay:
From $14.00 per hour
