Pontiac, MI Eastern Oil Company is seeking a Production Associate to handle movement, packaging, loading and offloading of bulk oils and coolants. Our ideal candidate is excited and passionate about working and learning in a team-oriented atmosphere. All candidates will be required to complete and pre-employment testing including a background check and drug/alcohol test.

Offloading of bulk oils into tanks and compartments Loading of bulk oils and water-based coolants into trucks and various vessels Packaging of product into drums, totes, pails and kegs Moving finished materials from production area to warehouse Meet and exceed product quality and accuracy standards Maintain a safe, productive work flow Maintain basic housekeeping Assist in equipment maintenance

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED preferred 1+ years' experience working in a production facility Fork truck experience preferred Experience with HAZMAT, HAZWOP and DOT regulations preferred Must be able to lift/push/pull 60 pounds, twist/turn, reach over shoulders, bend/stoop and stand/walk on a continual basis Demonstrated ability to work in an organized manner while maintaining deadlines Team player that wants to be part of a fast-paced organization that is positioned for continued growth An understanding of units of measure Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, E-Mail) Must be flexible; Ability to change and handle multiple tasks/assignments simultaneously Strong communication skills
