Job Description

Production Team Lead The Team Lead is responsible for leading daily production activities to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality pallet manufacturing operations. This role supports production planning, material flow, and workforce coordination while setting the team up for success each day. Key Responsibilities Coordinate daily production activities to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives. Plan and organize labor, materials, and equipment to maximize productivity and minimize downtime. Ensure materials are available and properly staged to support production schedules. Must be able to operate forklift. Lead by example as a servant leader, coaching and supporting team members while fostering accountability and continuous improvement. Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all company safety policies and procedures. Monitor product quality standards and address issues promptly to prevent defects and rework. Communicate verbal and written production priorities, expectations, and performance metrics to the team. Assist with hands-on production work when needed and remove barriers that impact team performance. Train, develop, and support employees to build workforce capability and engagement. Maintain production equipment at standard for high reliability and consistency Focus on efficiency with automated equipment. Qualifications Previous manufacturing or production leadership experience preferred. Experience with lumber handling, woodworking, or carpentry. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to lead in a fast-paced production environment. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus. Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, customer service, and continuous improvement. Willingness to roll up sleeves and work alongside the team when needed. Foster a positive work environment. Physical Requirements Must be able to traverse the production facility. Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time.
Pay:
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
