Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Seasonal Print Production Assistant and be at the forefront of creating high-quality printed materials that captivate and inspire! Duties Assist with setting up and operating large-format printers, digital presses, and screen printing equipment to produce vibrant, accurate prints. Support the interpretation of production documents, including job tickets and specifications, to ensure precise execution of each project. Perform quality control checks throughout the printing process to maintain color management standards and detect any defects or inconsistencies. Help with mechanical adjustments and troubleshooting on industrial equipment such as flexo presses and machining tools to optimize performance. Prepare materials by cutting, paper binding, and organizing substrates for various print jobs, ensuring smooth workflow continuity. Collaborate with graphic designers using Adobe Creative Suite and prepress software to review layouts, typography, and layout design before printing. Maintain a clean, safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols related to machine operation and manufacturing processes. Qualifications Basic understanding of print manufacturing processes including digital printing, flexo press operation, and screen printing techniques. Experience with graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator or InDesign is highly desirable. Knowledge of color management principles and print advertising standards to ensure vibrant, consistent results. Mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform machine adjustments and troubleshoot industrial equipment issues. Strong attention to detail with excellent quality control skills across various print mediums. Ability to interpret production documents accurately and follow detailed instructions precisely. Prior experience in a manufacturing or prepress environment involving large-format printers or industrial equipment is preferred.
