We're looking for a dependable, detail-oriented person to help prepare products, pack orders, and keep daily shop operations organized. You'll work directly with the owner in a small production workshop. This is a hands-on position focused on production support and packing. Previous 3D-printing or aquarium experience is welcome but not required—training will be provided. Responsibilities Inspect printed products for defects and complete cleanup and finishing using provided tools and trained procedures. Assemble products and check that parts fit and function correctly. Package products, apply labels, and prepare customer orders and inventory shipments. Assist with routine printer tasks, including removing finished prints and cleaning build plates, following established instructions. Sort and organize finished products, packaging materials, and supplies. Keep workbenches and surrounding work areas clean and orderly. Follow quality and safety procedures and report damaged products, equipment issues, or low supplies. Other workplace duties as assigned. Requirements - Required Basic computer skills and willingness to learn shipping software and routine printer controls. Ability to count inventory accurately and match products, quantities, colors, and labels to order instructions. Ability to identify visible defects and check finished products against provided quality examples. Comfort with repetitive, detailed tasks while maintaining consistent quality. Ability to use small hand tools safely after training. Good organization and ability to keep different products and orders separated throughout production and packing. Willingness to report mistakes, ask questions when instructions are unclear, and pause work when something appears unsafe. Ability to follow priorities and move between packing, product cleanup, and routine shop tasks as needed. Bonus Points - Not Required Order fulfillment, shipping, inventory handling, assembly, or quality inspection. Hands-on hobbies such as crafting, model building, electronics, or 3D printing. Familiarity with aquariums or aquarium products. Experience working independently in a small business or workshop. Physical requirements and Work Setting The work involves standing at workstations, repetitive hand tasks, bending, reaching, and regularly handling products, supplies, and shipping boxes weighing up to 50 pounds.
