Production Manufacturing Technician - Tester Assembly Job Overview Masterpiece is seeking a detail-oriented Production Manufacturing Technician to assemble and wire automated testers, fixtures, control panels, and custom equipment at our Corinth, Mississippi facility. Responsibilities Assemble automated testers, fixtures, control panels, and custom manufacturing equipment. Install and wire instruments, power supplies, relays, sensors, switches, and other electrical components used in the testers. Route, terminate, label, and organize wires and cables. Install mechanical components, aluminum framing, guarding, brackets, actuators, and pneumatic devices. Perform basic machining and fabrication using a vertical lathe, drill press, band saw, grinders, and other machine-shop tools. Use calipers, micrometers, rulers, and other measuring instruments to verify dimensions and tolerances. Read and follow mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, assembly drawings, bills of materials, and work instructions. Drill, tap, cut, deburr, and modify metal and plastic components as required. Inspect completed assemblies and wiring for proper fit, connection, function, and workmanship. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Support equipment troubleshooting, testing, installation, and final integration as needed. Qualifications and Experience Basic experience operating a vertical lathe and other machine-shop equipment. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, wire crimpers, and precision measuring instruments such as calipers. Ability to read mechanical drawings and basic electrical schematics. Basic understanding of tolerances, measurements, and shop mathematics. Attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work independently and as part of an engineering and manufacturing team. Willingness to learn electrical wiring, pneumatics, industrial automation, and testing systems. Forklift or material-handling experience is a plus. Technical school training or related manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.
