Part-Time Print Production Associate PostNet of Chapel Hill | Chapel Hill, NC 20 hours/week | Monday-Friday daytime | $14-$16/hour Experienced in print production at Staples, FedEx Office, Office Depot, The UPS Store, or a local print shop? PostNet of Chapel Hill is hiring a Part-Time Print Production Associate to handle jobs from file to finished product. If you enjoy working behind the machines more than working the register, this role is for you. We are a brand-new, locally owned PostNet center serving businesses, students, nonprofits, and residents throughout Chapel Hill and Carrboro. You'll work with new equipment and have an important role in establishing our production standards from day one. What You'll Do Print Production Run digital color and black-and-white print jobs including business cards, flyers, brochures, postcards, booklets, labels, and forms Operate wide-format printers for banners, posters, signs, displays, and graphics Load paper/media, manage toner and ink, and maintain equipment File Preparation Review PDFs and customer files for size, resolution, bleed, margins, fonts, and color Correct routine file issues before production Identify problems that require customer approval and communicate them to the front counter Finishing & Bindery Cut, fold, score, perforate, drill, collate, laminate, mount, and bind Finish wide-format work including grommets, hems, and pole pockets Package completed jobs for pickup or shipping Quality & Workflow Proof completed work against the job ticket before release Track jobs and keep the production queue moving Maintain an organized production area and monitor inventory Help with shipping and the front counter during busy periods What We're Looking For Required Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Comfortable working with PDFs, image files, print queues, and computers Able to work independently after training Able to stand and work on your feet throughout the shift Able to lift and move up to 50 lbs High school diploma or equivalent Legal authorization to work in the U.
S Pay:
$14.00 - $16.00 per hour
