This position is fundamental in operating machinery and equipment involved in the production and processing of wood products, ensuring quality compliance and maintaining safety standards. Responsibilities Operate machinery and equipment used in the manufacturing of wood products. Monitor product quality and make adjustments to machinery as needed to maintain standards. Perform routine and preventive maintenance to ensure equipment integrity. Adhere to safety guidelines and participate in safety trainings. Record data regarding production volumes, dimensions, and varieties of processed wood. Assist in the setup and calibration of machinery for specific production tasks. Collaborate with the production team to meet targets and enhance efficiency. Required Skills Ability to operate or learn to operate various woodworking machines. Strong understanding of safety protocols in a manufacturing environment. Basic maintenance skills for troubleshooting and machine upkeep. Effective communication and teamwork capabilities. Attention to detail especially regarding product quality and specifications.
