As a Production Trainer in Cargill's protein facility, you provide on-the-job training to new and existing employees across production areas. You demonstrate safe work practices, show correct handling of meat products, explain standard operating procedures, and support required safety and environmental trainings. You help update training materials, observe employees on the line, give clear feedback, and escalate issues when needed to support safe, efficient production in a cold-to-warm plant environment. Responsibilities Provide on-the-job training to new hires on production tasks and procedures Demonstrate safe handling of meat products and proper use of equipment Communicate training content clearly and suggest improvements to training materials Learn multiple production areas to train employees across different roles Support environmental, health, and safety trainings such as ramp-in and monthly sessions Monitor trainees' performance and provide feedback to ensure accuracy and safety Assist with basic documentation of completed trainings using computer systems Follow and model all plant safety and food safety policies and procedures Required Skills On-the-job training Production process knowledge Safety training Communication Basic computer skills
