We are looking for a skilled sewer who takes pride in precise, durable work and wants to build a lasting career in a hands-on manufacturing environment. About the Role As a Technical Sewer, you will sew and assemble the heat-resistant and industrial products we manufacture. The work requires accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to work with a wide range of fabrics. You will work closely with our production team to make sure every product meets our quality standards before it ships. Responsibilities Operate industrial sewing machines to assemble press pads, insulating head and buck covers, hose covers, laundry machine covers, and custom orders Work with heat-resistant and specialty materials, including needlepunch felt, Nomex-based fabrics, PTFE-coated covers, high-temperature Velcro, and rubber layers Cut, align, and assemble multi-layer components to exact dimensions Inspect finished work for seam quality, dimensional accuracy, and fit to the specified machine model Maintain and perform basic upkeep on sewing equipment Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe Help identify and report material defects or process issues Qualifications Proven experience operating industrial sewing machines (lockstitch and/or specialty machines preferred) Strong attention to detail and consistent quality on repetitive work Reliable attendance and a commitment to meeting production schedules Experience with heat-resistant or industrial textiles is a plus Mechanical aptitude and interest in machine maintenance is a plus Lab Test Products, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
